Summary: The role of Senior React Native Engineer involves working on a contract basis with a fast-growing social media startup. The engineer will focus on building and deploying high-quality mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and AWS. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic founding team dedicated to enhancing user experience through rapid iteration. The contract is for an initial duration of six months with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Own the end-to-end process of building, testing, and deploying applications.
- Create animations and implement state management tools.
- Conduct UI end-to-end testing with appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with the founding team to iterate on product features and user experience.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with React Native (Expo) and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of mobile release platforms.
- Experience in building and deploying applications through structured development cycles.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or another JavaScript language.
- Familiarity with state management tools and UI testing frameworks.

- Experience with state management tools.
- Experience with UI end to end testing with tools.
