Summary: The Senior Quantity Surveyor role involves managing two high-profile De-RE Clad projects in Wembley and Barnet over a long-term freelance basis of approximately two years. The position requires overseeing cost management, contract administration, and collaboration with project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of cost management, including preparing budgets, managing costs, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Provide accurate and timely cost estimates and reports at various stages of the project, including pre-construction, design, and delivery.
• Administer contracts and manage subcontractor procurement, including measurement, valuation, and certification of payments.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor and manage project timelines, quality, and costs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Attend client meetings, provide regular progress reports, and build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, particularly on large-scale projects.
• Experience working on De-RE Clad projects is desirable but not essential.
• Solid knowledge of NEC, JCT, and other standard forms of contracts.
• Strong experience in project cost management from PCA stage to delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
