Summary: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of subcontract packages on a major residential development in Canary Wharf. This freelance role offers the opportunity to take full commercial ownership of key packages and requires a proactive approach on-site. The position is expected to last approximately 24 months, starting in June. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential or large mixed-use projects and experience with subcontract negotiation and cost management.

An established and growing specialist sub-contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major residential development in Canary Wharf. This is a long-term freelance opportunity on a flagship London scheme, offering stability and the chance to take full commercial ownership of key packages.
The Role
You will be commercially responsible for managing packages from procurement through to final account, working closely with the project delivery team and client representatives. The role is site-based and requires a hands-on, proactive commercial lead.
