About the Role
A Tier 1 civil engineering contractor has secured a significant work bank on the AMP8 framework and is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to help deliver design & build clean and wastewater projects across Wiltshire and the South East.
You'll manage a programme upgrading clean water assets to improve network efficiency, alongside wastewater projects aimed at reducing environmental pollution in rivers and coastal waters.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing Tier 1 contractor with long-term, local work secured in a sector set for major investment over the next five years.
A clear progression path to Managing Quantity Surveyor is available within two years.

Team: Commercial team of 8

Key Responsibilities
- Value engineering
- Cost forecasting
- Sub-contract procurement, including drafting complex subcontract arrangements, professional services agreements, and terms of engagement
- Change management
- Client management — initiating and maintaining relationships
- Supporting production of the project margin improvement plan
- Supporting work-winning activity, including technical writing for PQQ responses
- Maximising cash flow through WIP management and improvement plans
- Agreeing final accounts
What We're Looking For
- BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- Stable career history as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Proven experience on civil engineering, infrastructure, or utilities projects in the UK
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Water sector experience (AMP6/AMP7/AMP8) desirable
- Long-term career ambitions with a leading main contractor
