Your Role as Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Manage valuations, variations, pricing submissions, and final account negotiations
- Lead on resolving a substantial backlog of variations and RFIs
- Defend commercial interests and challenge costs where appropriate
- Provide commercial oversight across complex remediation, cladding, and high-rise residential works
- Build effective relationships whilst managing difficult and sensitive contractor discussions
Your Previous Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential construction projects
- Strong background in building remediation, cladding, refurbishment, or high-rise developments
- Proven client-side experience, ideally within Local Government, Housing, or Public Sector environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly assess commercial risks
- Chartered status desirable but not essential
