Key Responsibilities:

- Work predominantly on-site (4 days per week) across multiple smaller schemes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1 contractor.
- Strong Senior Quantity Surveying background within highways or civils.
- Experience managing large subcontract packages.
- Ability to assist with forecasting.
- Take off experience would be beneficial.
- Clear understanding of compensation event management.
- Broad experience across the full range of QS activities on smaller schemes.
- Solid working knowledge of NEC3/4.

You'll be joining a Tier 1 contractor operating within the highways and civils sector. They deliver a wide range of projects nationally with consistent pipelines of work and strong opportunities for long term progression. Due to increased regional workload, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join on a long term temporary basis.
Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support highways projects across Nottingham and the surrounding areas. You will work predominantly on site (4 days per week) and will oversee the commercial delivery of multiple smaller schemes. Key responsibilities include managing large subcontract packages, assisting with forecasting, undertaking take offs where required, and managing compensation events under NEC contracts. Due to the nature of the schemes, you will also be involved across the full breadth of QS duties, ensuring strong commercial governance from start to finish.
What you'll need to succeed
