Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the commercial delivery of construction projects valued up to £30m
  • Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans and forecasts
  • Overseeing subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment
  • Managing valuations, variations, and interim payments
  • Producing cost reports and financial updates for senior management
  • Ensuring effective contract administration (JCT contracts)
  • Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where required

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor

The Role
