Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end commercial management of water treatment projects
  • Cost control, forecasting and reporting in line with framework and client requirements
  • Procurement and commercial management of subcontractors
  • Preparation, assessment and agreement of variations and compensation events
  • Supporting project teams with commercial strategy, risk and opportunity management
  • Working collaboratively with delivery, engineering and planning teams
  • Managing commercial relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on water or wastewater treatment projects
  • Experience working for a tier one contractor or within major infrastructure frameworks
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3 / NEC4)
  • Ability to manage complex commercial issues across live projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating within long-term framework environments

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Treatment

A leading tier one contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major water treatment frameworks . This long-term contract role offers the opportunity to work on flagship, regulated infrastructure projects forming part of the UK water sector’s major investment programmes. The position is well suited to a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in water or wastewater treatment , particularly within large framework environments, who can provide commercial leadership on technically complex schemes.
