Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:

  • HNC / HND or equivalent experience in Quality or Engineering.
  • Understanding and implementation of quality practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft applications.
  • Experience in Life Cycle Management and the Engineering Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of aerospace and defence quality requirements (e.g., EN9100).
  • Familiarity with customer operations and aircraft platforms supported by the company.

Salary: £47,683+ depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensuring compliance to company, contractual and statutory/regulatory quality requirements is maintained throughout the full development lifecycle
  • Operating as the Quality Assurance focal point for Engineering capability teams working within the Design, Development, Test and Evaluation Service Delivery Unit
  • Proactive engagement and working closely with the engineering teams in order to assure the design, development and deployment of quality products and Services throughout the development lifecycle
  • Undertaking First Article Verifications and signing Certificates of Conformity on behalf of the business and supporting customer release activities as required across the varied teams
  • Effectively conducting the timely investigation and resolution of all reported quality issues and Customer quality concerns associated within the Engineering Capability organisation
  • Support the utilisation of business information to identify and proactively drive Quality and business led improvement activities focussed towards improving the quality of our products and services
  • Conduct as required to schedule, all internal system / process / product / audits and provision of support to third party certification audits and the timely resolution of all identified non-conformances
  • Providing Quality advice and support to all levels of the Engineering Capability organisation and associated stakeholders

Essential Your skills and experiences:

  • HNC / HND (or equivalent relevant experience) ideally in Quality or an Engineering related discipline
  • Good understanding and implementation of Quality practices, tools and techniques
  • Strong IT literacy, especially with Microsoft applications
  • Experience of Life Cycle Management and the Engineering Lifecycle

Desirable

  • Extensive knowledge of quality requirements for aerospace and defence contracts (e.g. EN9100, defence regulations and standards)
  • Knowledge / experience of our Customer Operations and any of the Aircraft platforms we support
