Summary: The Senior Python Developer will join the OS Factory product team, focusing on the development of hardened operating system images for major public cloud providers. This role emphasizes creating a self-service platform that ensures the security and compliance of digital products and enterprise workloads. The developer will be responsible for high-quality software development, leadership in technical excellence, and ownership of platform components. The position requires collaboration with engineering teams to enhance the platform's capabilities across multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, scalable, and supportable software.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Take ownership of specific platform components or services in collaboration with Platform Owners.
- Ensure integration of the software stack with existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Build dynamic GitLab CI/CD pipelines using Python.
- Develop and deploy serverless event-driven architecture patterns across various cloud providers.
Key Skills:
- Python programming experience.
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of serverless event-driven architecture solutions.
- Infrastructure provisioning, configuring, and testing (Terraform, Ansible).
- CI/CD experience (GitLab).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, logging, and monitoring (Prometheus and Grafana) is a plus.
- Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes are desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in relevant fields.
