Senior Finance / Property & Support Officer Permanent Grade C- £35,412 - £44,075 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Temporary Accommodation Service within Birmingham Council. The Housing Solutions & Support service are experiencing unprecedented demand around the use of temporary accommodation. There are currently over 5600 households in temporary accommodation, across a variety of property portfolios including hotels. You will manage a team of Temporary Accommodation Support Officers, ensuring that households in Temporary Accommodation are resident and that they are supported to secure permanent Housing. The successful candidates, will want the best for our citizens, be IT literate, with a housing, finance or customer service management experience. You will demonstrate resilience and the ability to work in a highly pressurised area of the business. You will be able to make sound decisions under pressure.
