Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee a significant project focused on updating and implementing a new Policy Administration System (PAS) for a reputable Insurance business. This role requires extensive experience in leading PAS implementations within the Commercial Insurance sector. The position is hybrid, requiring two days a week in the London office, and is offered on a 12-month contract basis. Candidates must have a proven track record in managing complex PAS-related projects and agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a project team including Business Analyst, Solution Architect, and Test Manager.
- Lead the implementation of a new PAS for Specialty Global Markets across Europe.
- Ensure successful delivery of critical and complex PAS system projects in enterprise Commercial Insurance environments.
- Utilize agile software development and lifecycle methodologies (SCRUM).
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in PAS implementation or development.
- Knowledge of MGA, Lloyd's market, and Specialty Insurance operating models.
- Experience in agile software development methodologies.

Overview:
Akkodis are partnering with a highly reputable Insurance business who are looking to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager.
The Senior Project Manager will join a large project that has been running for three years and involves updating and implementing new PAS for Speciality Global Markets across Europe. You will be managing a project team consisting of Business Analyst, Solution Architect and Test Manager.
Candidates absolutely must have previous proven experience leading PAS implementation or developing a PAS. You will not be considered without this experience.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week on site in the central London office.
Experience required:
- Proven experience working as a Senior Project Manager delivering critical and complex PAS system related projects in enterprise Commercial Insurance environments
- Must have knowledge and experience of MGA, Lloyd's market and Speciality Insurance operating models.
