Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Manage application software projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables
* Provide project oversight and accountability for multiple business functions, ensuring teams stay on track and follow the appropriate processes
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and existing project managers to ensure clear communication and task ownership
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) and track project progress using Jira and related tools
* Support teams in adhering to SDLC best practices and Agile methodologies
* Proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and action item trackers
* Ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders, helping to bridge communication gaps

REQUIREMENTS:
* Project management experience, ideally in application software or IT projects
* Understanding of SDLC processes and Agile frameworks
* Ability to collaborate across teams and functions, ensuring projects stay on track
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Work as a self starter, while also partnering effectively with senior managers and technical teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
