Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside technical and sales teams to build proposals for the UK MoD and international partners.
- Take full responsibility for project life cycles up to £5m, including rapid prototyping and sub-system delivery.
- Handle the financial health of projects, including forecasting, risk management, and coordinating with a complex supply chain.
- Manage multi-functional teams, setting clear goals and helping them navigate technical challenges to hit key milestones.
Key Skills:
- Solid track record of delivering hardware or software projects within the UK MoD framework.
- Comfortable with the commercial side of project management, including subcontractor relationships and contract delivery.
- Experience with rapid prototyping or urgent operational requirements.
- APMP or PMP certification.
- Bidding training/qualifications.

We are working exclusively with a leading innovator in defence technology to find an experienced Senior Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract.
This is a role for someone who wants to be involved at the very start, taking programs from the research phase and seeing them through to the finish line. If you like the challenge of winning the work through the bidding process and then being the one to actually lead the delivery and execution, this would be a great fit.
