Summary: The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of a £500 million leisure complex, ensuring the project meets quality standards, budget, and timeline. This role involves managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing budget control, and leading a multidisciplinary team. The position is based in Scotland and requires significant experience in project management within the leisure, retail, or hospitality sectors. Accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of the leisure complex from design through to completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client-side stakeholders.
- Oversee the project budget and manage cost forecasting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure all construction and design work adheres to the client's vision and relevant standards.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and support.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress.
- Manage and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and third parties.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in leisure, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid certifications.
- Previous client-side experience on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
