Senior Project Manager - Banking Transformation

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex change within banking or financial services?

An established global financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic initiatives within its Banking & Treasury Services Change portfolio. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile enterprise transformation programmes, collaborating with global stakeholders and driving successful delivery within a Scaled Agile environment.

The Role

You'll take full end-to-end ownership of project delivery across global initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside senior business leaders, technology teams, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Test Managers and PMO, you'll play a key role in delivering business-critical change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of global banking transformation projects.

• Manage project scope, requirements and delivery plans throughout the project life cycle.

• Coordinate delivery within a Scaled Agile framework, including quarterly PI Planning.

• Build strong relationships with business, operations and technology stakeholders across multiple regions.

• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.

• Ensure solutions are fully reviewed, tested and approved before release.

• Produce executive-level reporting, governance packs and steering committee presentations.

• Manage project budgets, resource planning and financial tracking.

• Provide accurate project status reporting to senior leadership.

About You

You'll be an experienced Project Manager who thrives in complex, fast-paced financial services environments and is confident engaging with senior stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 10+ years' experience delivering complex projects within banking or financial services.

• Extensive experience delivering projects using Agile or Scaled Agile methodologies.

• Strong end-to-end project delivery experience.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Outstanding analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial and resource planning.

• Strong Microsoft Project planning experience.

• Advanced PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive presentations.

• Professional Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM or equivalent).

Desirable

• Experience delivering technology-focused change programmes.

• Experience working within enterprise banking transformation initiatives.
