Summary: This role as a Senior Project Manager focuses on leading the delivery of strategic data warehouse and customer diagnostics programmes, collaborating closely with the CTIO and CxO leadership team. The position requires translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions that enhance decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will shape the understanding of customer behavior and data governance within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end delivery of data warehouse and customer analytics initiatives, defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements from inception through to deployment.
- Engage CTIO and CxO stakeholders to align technology strategy with enterprise architecture, communicating project progress, risks, and dependencies clearly and consistently.
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions, including ETL pipelines, data modelling, and performance optimisation, ensuring compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Develop customer diagnostics frameworks for behaviour analysis, segmentation, and predictive insights, integrating outputs directly into business decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, BI teams, and infrastructure and security colleagues to deliver actionable insights and ensure seamless system integration.
- Prepare executive-level dashboards and reports for CTIO and CxO review, maintaining detailed documentation of architecture, processes, and KPIs throughout.
Key Skills:
- Experience in data engineering, analytics, or a closely related field, with a strong track record of managing large-scale enterprise data warehouse projects.
- Practical experience with Amazon Redshift, Apache Airflow, dbt, Open Metadata, and Tableau.
- Solid grounding in ETL tooling, SQL, and data modelling, alongside familiarity with BI platforms such as Power BI and customer analytics frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders at CTIO and CxO level, with clear and confident communication and presentation skills.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Data governance or cloud platform certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
