Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee the European rollout of Workday Adaptive Planning for a global insurance broking company. This high-profile role involves leading the implementation of core planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance system implementations within the Financial Services sector, particularly in insurance. The position is hybrid and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday Adaptive Planning rollout across multiple countries and business units.
- Manage large-scale, multi-country finance system implementations.
- Ensure alignment with global finance strategy, regulatory requirements, and local market needs.
- Oversee stakeholder management, including C-suite and senior finance leadership.
- Implement strong governance, RAID management, and delivery assurance.
- Manage system integrators and third-party vendors.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated success as a Senior Project Manager in finance system implementations.
- Hands-on delivery experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Strong understanding of finance planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning).
- Experience in complex, regulated environments (insurance, financial services).

The client are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the European rollout of Workday Adaptive Planning across multiple countries within a complex insurance broker group. This is a high-profile transformation role responsible for delivering a core planning, budgeting, and forecasting capability aligned to global finance strategy, regulatory requirements, and local market needs. In this role you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Workday Adaptive Planning rollout across multiple countries and business units.
Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrated success as a Senior Project Manager leading large-scale, multi-country finance system implementations within the Financial Services sector, ideally with experience in an insurance broking environment.
- Hands-on delivery experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (global rollout experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of finance planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning)
- Experience operating within complex, regulated environments (insurance, financial services, or similar)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including C-suite and senior finance leadership
- Strong governance, RAID management, and delivery assurance capability
- Experience managing system integrators and third-party vendors
Desirable
- Experience delivering alongside Workday Financials (e.g. R2R, P2P, Prism, Accounting Centre)
- Change management and business adoption experience
Qualifications
