Summary: The Senior Project Manager role is a 6-12 month contract position based in Central London, focusing on leading a critical global technology programme at a new venue. The position requires managing infrastructure and networking workstreams while collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale enterprise environments and a strong background in project management methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure and networking workstreams, coordinating technical and business stakeholders.
- Manage the project streams on a global basis.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships, acting as a trusted partner across multiple functions.
- Drive projects to completion with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
- Report effectively on project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
Key Skills:
- PMP, PRINCE2 and/or Scrum certification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Background in large-scale enterprise environments, ideally on a global level.
- Experience working in venue space would be highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure and networking projects.
- Confident, resilient, and business-relationship-focused, with the ability to influence and lead in a global matrix environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Senior stakeholder management expertise, with a proven ability to engage at executive level.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills to ensure clarity and governance.
