Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a small engineering team delivering electrical safety, engineering change and electrification-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple engineering and electrical safety workstreams.
- Support a team of approximately three engineers.
- Develop and maintain project plans, programmes, budgets and reporting.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, change and governance.
- Coordinate engineering, operational and wider stakeholders.
- Support procurement and efficiency activities.
- Track delivery milestones, priorities and project performance.
- Support the implementation of engineering standards and technology changes.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client requirements.
Essential Experience
- Strong Senior Project Management experience within rail, engineering or another safety-critical environment.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project controls, programme planning, cost management and reporting skills.
- Experience managing risk, change, procurement and governance.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
Desirable
Experience in electrification, OLE, traction power, electrical safety, electrical isolation, earthing or engineering change programmes.
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Senior Project Manager with strong project controls and governance skills, combined with enough technical understanding to work confidently alongside engineering teams and manage complex delivery requirements.
