Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee the strategic delivery of a transformation project within the Commercial and Specialty Lines business of an insurance client. This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of change initiatives, particularly focusing on technology and platform-related projects. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement and proactive risk management. The contract is for 6 months and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end delivery of change initiatives, particularly technology and platform-related
- Driving agile-based delivery methods and embedding best practices
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes to time and budget
- Ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are proactively managed
- Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering complex change in a technology-enabled environment
- Strong project delivery track record using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive decisions
- Insurance industry experience (Commercial or Specialty Lines) is beneficial
- Experience with policy admin systems and/or documentation solutions (e.g., Paragon) is desirable for the Senior PM role

Our client is undertaking a major transformation of its Commercial and Specialty Lines business (Insurance). The current estate includes 10 legacy policy administration systems which they are planning to decommission as they move forward with building and launching a new platform.
We are urgently seeking the services of a Senior Project Manager on an Inside IR35 basis for initially 6 months.
This will be an oversight role leading on the strategic PAS delivery and documentation programme. This includes governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement across technology and business teams. Experience or familiarity with document management platforms (e.g., Paragon) is a nice to have, as future rollout of a strategic document system is planned.
