We are working with an organisation, in the Education sector, who are looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver on concurrent large/ technically complex ICT projects and programmes that deliver long term, strategy aligned outcomes. The role is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

Your Role

If you have experience of managing multiple complex projects, then this will be a great opportunity for you. You will need experience in developing strategies to identify potential risks in a project and develop plans to mitigate. The role will require involvement in technical projects, and you will gain strategic alignment from stakeholders to progress. You will understand the steps needed to fulfil a task and evaluate the outcome. A senior level opportunity whereby you will lead the delivery of exciting projects across an education environment, and work with a small team to complete this.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Relevant experience - app development, SDLC (software development lifecycle)
  • Experience delivering complex technical solutions
  • Hands on - e.g. oversee testing, present about products at meetings
  • Need to be able to lead and manage an IT team and engage senior business stakeholders.
  • Need good technical experience, team leadership, can get stuck in.
  • Good communicator at all levels.
  • Not suitable for a director level person

Salary between £45,000 - £57,000

Flexible working, 1 or 2 days on site in Southampton

18 month Fixed term contract
