Summary: The Senior Project Manager role involves leading cross-functional teams on various projects using Agile and Hybrid methodologies in Edinburgh. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels while managing project deliverables and fostering team accountability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams on various projects using Agile & Hybrid methods.
  • Analyze and translate opportunities/problem statements into measurable solutions.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Remove or facilitate removal of impediments blocking project progress.
  • Support and educate Sprint squads on X Sprint methodology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and dependent teams.
  • Lead planning sessions to establish project scope and benefits.
  • Manage and facilitate cross-functional team Sprint ceremonies.
  • Champion project change management processes.
  • Ensure projects follow standard operating policies and best practices.
  • Exhibit a goal-driven aptitude for achieving stretch goals.
  • Demonstrate creativity in problem-solving and communication.
  • Maintain a self-motivated work ethic throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure diversity, equality, and inclusion in all actions.

Key Skills:

  • 10 years of experience in Project Management, Scrum Master, or Team Lead roles.
  • Experience with Cloud teams, Data Engineering, AI, or software development.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of technology in a business context.
  • Experience with global, distributed teams across cultures and time zones.
  • Proactive and ambitious with the ability to show initiative.
  • Advanced user of agile management and productivity tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing end-to-end delivery lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with ADO, Jira, and Excel (developing Macros).
  • Project Management qualifications/certifications.
