Summary: The Senior Project Manager role involves tackling complex design challenges in the defence industry, focusing on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hybrid role based in Bristol, offered on an initial 26-week contract. Candidates must obtain SC security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for delivery of the workstream to ensure on time delivery, to cost and to the required quality standards
- Collaborating, informing and managing all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure workstream and project delivery in line with customer requirements and industry standards
- Providing overall operational and strategic management of assigned projects within your workstream/project team
- Providing effective risk management to minimize business risk exposure throughout the project
Key Skills:
- Previous experience on complex defence and telecommunication projects/programmes, preferably MilSatCom
- APM PMQ, Chartered status or equivalent
- Considerable experience in advanced application of Project Management techniques in a relevant technical project environment
- Full INCOSE Systems Engineering lifecycle experience
