Job Title: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER Full Time(Initial 12month post, with potential for extension Reporting to: Head of Regulation Strategy and Education Location: University Street, Belfast Hybrid Working(office based 3 days per week) Salary: 50k - 55k(depending on experience) Closing date: 28th October 2024 About Us The Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of our key modernisation initiatives. This role involves co-ordinating the implementation of key regulatory amendments and reforms as highlighted in our strategic plan, engaging with stakeholders and working with our policy and standards team on developing policy for the Society. The initial contract period is for 12 months, with the potential for extension based on project requirements and performance. Overview Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the delivery of the Knowledge of English amendments and guidance, ensuring timely submission to the Council and the Department of Health, followed by effective communication and launch. Coordinate the implementation of amendments to support Initial Education and Training (IET) reforms, including consultation processes and legislative updates. Oversee the progression of amendments to support the regulation of Pharmacy Technicians, engaging with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Initiate and manage the reform of the Societys model of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) model, including stakeholder engagement and policy development. Ensure all project deliverables are met within the specified timelines and budgets, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Prepare and present reports to the Responsible Lead, Head of Regulatory Strategy and Education, and the Chief Executive. Manage project budgets, risks and mitigations, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of potential issues. Additional duties may be required to be undertaken as and when required by agreement Essential Criteria: Proven experience in project management, preferably within a public sector, regulatory or healthcare environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively. Knowledge of regulatory processes and compliance requirements. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Desirable Criteria: Experience working within the public sector. Relevant project management qualifications or equivalent experience (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP). Understanding of the regulatory landscape of health and social care in Northern Ireland.
