Senior Project Manager (GIS Substation)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the construction and commissioning of large-scale GIS substations.
  • Manage Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee NEC3/NEC4 contract management, change control, and commercial performance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to regulatory standards.
  • Manage supply chain partners from ECI through to construction delivery.
  • Provide strong leadership, governance, and stakeholder management.

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record delivering major GIS substation construction projects.
  • Strong NEC contract management experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale infrastructure, transmission, or energy projects.
  • Excellent commercial, contractor, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience leading high-performing project teams.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £500m+ GIS Substation construction programme within a major energy infrastructure project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure while leading a significant construction programme from delivery through to commissioning.
