Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee data projects within a designated portfolio, collaborating with various business units to achieve project targets. This role requires strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, particularly in an enterprise environment focused on data migration and upgrades. The position is hybrid, requiring travel to the Bradford office 2-3 days a week, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract is for 6 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects within a designated portfolio/suite of work across the Data programme.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to drive projects delivering against agreed targets.
- Influence and manage stakeholders effectively to create excellent working relationships.
- Lead project teams, driving contractor performance and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Oversee financial/budget management and project planning.
- Manage 3rd party providers and address challenges to strive for best practice performance.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in Data programmes within an Enterprise environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership qualities with a confident and assertive approach to problem-solving.
- Track record in project management, planning, and financial/budget management.
- Specific experience in delivering Data migration/upgrade projects.
- Experience in project delivery and managing contractor performance.
- Ability to deal with challenges and strive for best practice performance.
- Desirable: Experience within the utilities industry.

Our client, a leading organisation in the region, has a contract requirement for a Project Manager.
The Project Manager will manage projects within a designated portfolio/suite of work across the Data programme. The role holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to drive projects delivering against agreed targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- You will possess proven experience as a Senior Project Manager specifically around Data programmes within an Enterprise environment.
- The Senior Project Manager must be a strong influential manager of stakeholders and be able to create excellent working relationships with contract partners and supply chain, to assist successful project delivery.
- You will be a leader, confident and assertive, whilst maintaining a can-do attitude to problem solving and directing the wider project resources.
- You will have a proven track record of project management and planning and financial/budget management.
- Specific experience of delivering Data migration/upgrade projects within an Enterprise environment.
- Fully experienced in project delivery including leading the project team, driving contractor performance, and ensuring the right outcomes are delivered to the end user.
- Managing 3rd party providers
- The ability to deal with challenges and continuously strive for best practice performance.
Desirable:
- Experience within the utilities industry
