Summary: The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the UK, overseeing all phases from pre-construction to commissioning. This role requires strong project management skills, including risk management, client interfacing, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management and have proven experience in delivering similar projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project execution plans.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Lead regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams.
- Manage contract deliverables and change orders.
- Review contractor payment applications.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
- Monitor contractor HSE performance.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering Utility-Scale BESS projects.
