We are looking for experienced Senior Project Managers to lead key workstreams within a major enterprise AI transformation programme in a regulated financial services environment.
This is a senior delivery role responsible for driving outcomes across complex AI programme workstreams involving business, Product, Technology, Data and Senior Executive stakeholders.
The environment is fast-moving and complex, so we are looking for Project Managers who are comfortable operating with ambiguity, making sound delivery decisions and maintaining momentum across multiple risks, dependencies and stakeholder groups.
Experience delivering AI and particularly Agentic AI would be highly desirable. Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation into an HR environment would also be particularly relevant.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a major workstream within an enterprise AI programme.
- Establish and maintain clear delivery plans, governance, milestones and outcomes.
- Lead delivery across complex business and technology dependencies.
- Manage significant risks, issues and cross-project dependencies.
- Maintain momentum within a high-risk and evolving technology environment.
- Make sound delivery decisions around priorities, trade-offs and escalation.
- Lead and influence senior and executive stakeholders.
- Resolve delivery tensions and drive alignment across organisational boundaries.
- Provide clear, concise and authoritative reporting into senior governance forums.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and build sustainable delivery capability.
- Apply appropriate project and programme governance proportionately to the delivery environment.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, commercial considerations and value for money.
- Identify where delivery tolerances are at risk and lead appropriate corrective action.
What we're looking for
- Significant Senior Project/Programme Management experience.
- Strong financial services and/or regulatory-sector knowledge.
- Proven delivery leadership across complex, high-risk and interdependent programmes.
- Confidence operating autonomously and exercising sound judgement.
- Strong prioritisation, trade-off and strategic escalation capability.
- Excellent senior and executive stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience managing portfolio-level risks and dependencies.
- Strong governance, reporting and assurance capability.
- People leadership experience, including developing and coaching delivery teams.
- Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Strong commercial and financial management capability, including budgets and forecasting.
- Ability to navigate organisational complexity and deliver outcomes through influence as well as authority.
Candidates with hands-on experience managing the implementation of AI, Generative AI or Agentic AI are particularly encouraged to apply. The strongest candidates will understand both the technical delivery and the associated business change required to embed AI safely and effectively.
Experience managing technical delivery and change into an HR function is another specific advantage for this programme.
This would suit a Senior Project Manager who combines excellent traditional delivery discipline with genuine AI transformation experience and is comfortable leading complex, high-profile work within a regulated environment.
