Senior Project Buyer - Belfast (BT1)

New Role | Immediate Requirement | Senior Project / Programme Buyer | 12 Month FTC | £45,000-£50,000

This isn't your typical Senior Buyer role. It's about delivering projects, finding solutions and keeping procurement moving. Someone who can work in hours and days when needed, not months of meetings and drawn-out decision making.

You'll be supporting a range of procurement and supply chain projects. One minute you'll be sourcing new suppliers, the next you'll be dealing with legacy supply issues or driving dual sourcing initiatives across Europe and Asia.

• Managing legacy spare parts and last-buy requirements.
• Developing dual sourcing strategies.
• Identifying new sources of supply across Eastern Europe and Asia.
• Qualifying and onboarding suppliers with a strong focus on quality and risk.
• Keeping procurement projects moving without compromising process, governance or supplier standards.

I'm looking for someone who:

• Has a strong procurement background and understands good procurement discipline.
• Enjoys project-based work.
• Can make sound commercial decisions and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
• Is organised, adaptable and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
• Understands that working quickly never means cutting corners.
