Summary: Wipro is looking for a Senior Programme Test Manager to oversee quality assurance and testing for a Finance and Actuarial transformation programme. The role involves defining test strategies, managing various testing phases, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, particularly related to IFRS 17. The position requires collaboration with multiple teams and engagement with senior stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery. This is a 12-month hybrid contract based in London or Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the overall test strategy, planning, and scheduling across multiple programme releases.
  • Manage end-to-end testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), Data Validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
  • Oversee testing across policy and claims administration platforms and associated financial systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Actuarial, Finance, Data Governance, and IT teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across IFRS 17, Actuarial, Regulatory, and Statutory Reporting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements including performance, financial controls, and service assurance standards.
  • Support go-live readiness through structured cutover planning and post-implementation validation activities.

Key Skills:

  • 20+ years’ experience in QA / Quality Engineering (technical background preferred).
  • Prior experience as a Senior Programme Test Manager preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in delivery test management across strategic, complex transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience delivering Finance and Actuarial programmes.
  • Direct experience delivering IFRS 17 or similar regulatory transformation initiatives.
  • Programme-level test management within finance, actuarial, or regulatory transformation environments.
  • Strong understanding of insurance data, claims processing, actuarial reserving, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with data platforms, ETL pipelines, and enterprise reporting tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, change management, and release planning within regulated environments.
