Summary: An experienced Senior Project/Programme Manager is sought to lead complex IT infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives, specifically focusing on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrades. The role involves managing large-scale delivery, technical complexity, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring financial performance and governance across enterprise environments. The position is expected to commence ASAP and run until 31/12/2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of complex IT infrastructure and VCF upgrade programmes
- Manage full lifecycle delivery including pre-sales, planning, execution, and closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, cost models, and Statements of Work
- Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary technical teams and third-party vendors
- Ensure delivery meets agreed scope, timelines, financial targets, and KPIs
- Own governance, reporting, and project controls across the assignment
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations through to resolution
- Lead stakeholder engagement across senior customer and internal teams
- Drive financial performance including forecasting, cost control, and invoicing
- Support business development through pre-sales and client engagement
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in project/programme management within IT infrastructure and cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
