Summary: The Senior Programme Manager will play a crucial role in the South West Regional Vaccination and Screening Directorate, leading the integration of vaccination and screening programmes across seven systems. This position involves overseeing the transition of Covid-19 vaccination services to a standard operational model and managing a team dedicated to these initiatives. The role requires collaboration with local, regional, and national stakeholders to enhance service delivery and health outcomes. The post holder will also support the Head of Public Health Commissioning in various leadership capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of vaccination and screening programmes across seven systems in the South West region.
• Support the transition of commissioning to Integrated Care Boards by 2026.
• Oversee the transition of Covid-19 vaccination services to a business-as-usual model.
• Develop capacity plans and delivery models for future vaccination programmes.
• Manage internal business processes for the programme management office function.
• Provide line management and oversight for specified team members within the Directorate.
• Deputise for the Head of Public Health Commissioning in internal, system, and national meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes.
