Why this role matters
The Programme Manager will lead a complex, cross-team initiative overseeing the on-boarding and implementation of a new system.
This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition from the Legacy system, while driving adoption of new tools and ways of working.
Project Delivery & Planning
- Lead end-to-end project/programme management
- Define and manage the project plan, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate across Product, UX, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Content, and vendors
- Provide clear governance, reporting, and stakeholder updates
Commercial Control & Supplier Management
- Own day-to-day commercial oversight of the programme, including budget tracking and cost management
- Ensure clear linkage between spend and deliverables, with no uncontrolled scope expansion
- Manage third-party vendors against agreed scope, milestones, and commercial terms
- Identify and escalate commercial risks early, including delays, cost overruns, or misalignment to outcomes
- Work closely with procurement and finance to ensure appropriate governance, approvals, and value realisation
Implementation & Roll-out
- Oversee phased roll-out across teams and regions
- Ensure readiness across content migration, integrations, and processes
- Coordinate testing and go-live activities to minimise disruption
Ways of Working & Alignment
- Define clear roles and processes for content and localization workflows
- Enable collaboration across Digital Product and Marketing teams
- Manage cross-team dependencies and drive alignment
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central coordination point across teams
- Deliver clear, concise updates tailored to different audiences
- Build strong relationships to drive engagement and momentum
