Summary: The Senior Product Manager role is a freelance position within a fast-growing financial services group, focused on enhancing customer and advisor experiences through digital transformation. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver the product and technology strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and business performance.
- Act as the voice of both customers and sales advisors, ensuring their needs drive product decisions.
- Translate advisor workflows and customer pain points into product requirements, user stories, and functionality roadmaps.
- Partner with architects, data, engineering, and UX/UI teams to design and deliver solutions across apps, policy admin systems, and multi-channel experiences.
- Drive the adoption of new features across a large advisor network, working with change management and “super user” groups.
- Lead workstreams in customer discovery, analytics, and competitive benchmarking to inform product direction.
- Monitor KPIs and feedback loops to continuously improve customer journeys and sales outcomes.
- Present product roadmaps and updates to senior leadership and steering committees, shaping the strategic agenda.
- Own and deliver strategic initiatives that impact customer engagement and efficiency (e.g., renewals, policy access, or advisor contact processes).
Key Skills:
- 10+ years’ product management experience, ideally with exposure to multi-channel, customer-facing products.
- Strong background in digital experience, product design, and software development practices.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across engineering, UX/UI, operations, sales, finance, and marketing.
- Data-driven problem solver with strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
