Summary: The Senior Product Manager role at the Department for Work and Pensions involves leading product strategy and roadmap development for Working Age Services across multiple technical teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve product roadmaps for multiple teams in a highly technical environment.
- Apply Agile principles and practices to deliver products efficiently and transparently.
- Collaborate with Delivery Leads and engineering teams to drive product vision and priorities.
- Work within DevOps and cloud-heavy environments, influencing technical decisions to align with business outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
- Ensure alignment with organisational strategy and GOV.UK service standards.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience managing products at scale with technical teams.
- Strong background in Agile delivery and DevOps/cloud environments (AWS experience highly beneficial).
- Experience developing and implementing product strategies and roadmaps across multiple teams.
- Comfortable working with technical language and concepts (observability pipelines, containerisation, databases).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Public sector experience or familiarity with GOV.UK service standards (desirable).
- Experience with AWS and modern container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), with an understanding of best practices (desirable).

As a Senior Product Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
