Senior Product Delivery Manager - Real-Time Platform Automation

Reporting To Head of FTRP Transformation Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of strategic automation initiatives across a large-scale, business-critical real-time technology platform. The role sits within a major Full Technology Replatform programme responsible for modernising the real-time market data platform, delivering a highly automated, resilient and cloud-enabled technology estate. The successful candidate will coordinate multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring end-to-end delivery of automation capabilities that improve operational resilience, software delivery, platform observability and engineering efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with architecture, engineering, product, infrastructure and cloud teams to deliver strategic technology outcomes using Agile methodologies and PI Planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product delivery of multiple technology workstreams across the Full Technology Replatform programme.
• Drive delivery of strategic engineering initiatives across complex distributed technology environments of Agile engineering teams.
• Own planning, governance, risks, dependencies and delivery reporting.
• Ensure delivery aligns with programme objectives, engineering standards and business priorities.
• Platform Automation Lead automation initiatives across the engineering estate including: DevSecOps Zero-Touch Operations (ZTO) Platform Observability CI/CD automation Engineering tooling Release automation Operational automation Infrastructure automation Platform resilience Service monitoring Engineering productivity initiatives Drive improvements that reduce manual intervention whilst increasing platform reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
• Product Delivery Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to: Define Product Increment (PI) objectives Translate strategic initiatives into executable delivery plans Prioritise engineering backlogs Manage delivery roadmaps Coordinate cross-team dependencies Track progress against business objectives Agile Delivery Lead Agile delivery practices including: PI Planning Sprint Planning Backlog refinement Scrum of Scrums Dependency management Release planning Retrospectives Increment reviews Ensure delivery aligns with SAFe Agile principles.
• Jira & Delivery Management Own delivery management through Jira including: Business Initiatives Features Epics Stories Dependencies Delivery milestones Sprint reporting Delivery dashboards Provide accurate reporting to programme leadership through Jira metrics and executive dashboards.
• Business Value Management Support delivery using measurable business outcomes through: OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) KPIs Delivery metrics Engineering productivity metrics Operational performance metrics Value tracking Benefits realisation Ensure initiatives deliver measurable value to both engineering teams and the wider business.
• Stakeholder Management Act as the central coordination point for cross-functional delivery and develop strong working relationships across all stakeholders Third-Party Supplier Management Work collaboratively with strategic partners and third-party vendors to: Coordinate delivery activities Manage technical dependencies Review delivery plans Track milestones Ensure contractual deliverables are achieved Support governance activities Drive successful integration into the wider programme Governance Lead programme governance activities including: RAID management Dependency management Delivery forecasting Executive reporting Risk mitigation Resource planning Capacity planning Financial tracking where appropriate.

Skills & Experience Essential Market Data Experience within Financial Services or Capital Markets. Experience with Real-Time Market Data platforms or other low-latency, high-messaging and performance platform Engineering experience. Significant experience delivering complex enterprise technology programmes. Strong Product Delivery Management experience. Experience within large-scale technology transformation programmes. Experience delivering platform automation initiatives. Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles. Experience implementing Zero-Touch Operations. Experience delivering Observability platforms and operational tooling. Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks. Extensive Jira experience. Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technology. Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams. Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams. Strong planning, governance and dependency management capability.
