Summary: The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead the development of a major service specification for a nationally significant ferry operation, ensuring compliance and alignment with stakeholder expectations. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week in Glasgow, and may involve occasional travel to Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive contract specification in partnership with technical specialists and legal advisors.
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams and with external stakeholders to ensure the specification is robust, deliverable, and provides value for money.

Job Opportunity: Senior Procurement Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial & Contract Lead – Specification Drafter to lead the development of a major service specification for a nationally significant ferry operation. This role supports the delivery of essential transport services that connect remote communities and carry strong Ministerial interest. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the resulting contract is fit for purpose, compliant, and aligned with wider stakeholder and policy expectations.
