Summary: The Senior Procurement Finance Business Partner at TekWissen will support the Procurement Operational Team by providing financial direction and leading financial decision processes for commercial strategy and supplier negotiations. This role requires strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills within a matrix organization. The position is based in Filton, UK, and is a 12-month hybrid contract with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Business Partner & MFT Lead for Finance supporting the Procurement Operational Team for Long Bed and Short Bed Detail Parts
- Provide financial direction for commercial strategy and tendering decisions
- Lead financial decision processes to support commercial negotiations and supplier performance
- Support supplier negotiations, claims, mergers, and acquisitions activities
- Drive annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes across Detail Parts Procurement
- Validate improvement projects, business cases, ROI, and financial assumptions
- Provide robust financial reporting and risk visibility to operational and controlling teams
- Challenge operational performance and implement mitigation actions where required
- Drive investment proposals and performance improvement projects
- Financial controlling across Recurring Cost, Inventory, Non-Recurring Cost, Capex, Jigs / Tools (on request)
- Engage with local & central controlling teams, operational managers, Head of Procurement, and UK cost/financial accounting teams
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with minimum 5 years PQE in manufacturing or commercial environment
- Strong SAP or equivalent financial reporting tool experience
- Experience working as a Finance Business Partner in a large organisation
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Experience managing operational finance activities
- Ability to work independently across varied financial activities
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders and board members
- Continuous improvement mindset
