Senior Process Engineer

Summary: The Senior Process Engineer role focuses on producing process design deliverables for the clean and waste water sector, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires extensive experience in process design within the regulated UK water industry and involves developing efficient design solutions and conducting technical assessments. The role is based in Manchester with hybrid working options available and is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce process design deliverables in line with safety and quality requirements
• Develop efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits
• Prepare design risk assessments, reports and technical specifications
• Carry out mass balance, process sizing and hydraulic calculations
• Produce process flow diagrams, control philosophies and commissioning strategies
• Ensure compliance with relevant water company, technical and professional standards
• Attend and contribute to HAZOP, ALM, KM and similar reviews

Key Skills:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in process design within the regulated UK water industry
• Background at Graduate, HND, or Technician level with significant relevant experience
• Experience and understanding of wastewater unit processes and treatment plant, with experience of delivering process design or wastewater projects

Salary (Rate): £500 daily

Rates: Senior Process Engineer: £350-£500 per day (outside IR35)
