Summary: The Senior Process Engineer role in Basingstoke involves leading process engineering activities for high-profile energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering activities, either independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Conduct facility debottlenecking studies and oversee multi-discipline reporting.
- Develop and review process engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with internal and international standards.
- Assess contractor submissions, including P&IDs, datasheets, and Design Basis documents.
- Manage and coordinate process engineering activities across multiple locations.
Key Skills:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status (e.g. IChemE) preferred.
- Extensive experience in FEED and EPC projects within the oil and gas sector.
- Proven track record as a Lead Process Engineer, demonstrating autonomy and technical leadership.
- Hands-on experience with process simulation tools (e.g. HYSYS) is advantageous.
- Exposure to projects from Feasibility through to Construction.
- Experience in CCUS, LNG, or Offshore technologies is beneficial.
- Familiarity with engineering tools and internal standards is a plus.
