Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process design from concept through detailed engineering for hydrogen plants
- Deliver FEL2/FEL3 packages through to execution for multi-disciplinary projects
- Provide technical input during bidding, development, and execution phases
- Support hazard studies (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL) and process safety reviews
- Collaborate with technology teams to deepen AWE process understanding
- Develop templates, reports, CTRs, and engineering documentation
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in process design for hydrogen or chlor-alkali sectors
- Proven senior/principal engineer-level delivery on complex CAPEX projects
- Strong knowledge of process safety, ideally hydrogen-specific
- Skilled in process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS)
- Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering (Chartered status preferred)
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
