In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers and Designers working to deliver multiple projects as part of a site-based alliance between BakerHicks and the end client (A major blue-chip international pharmaceutical company). The projects offer great variety, ranging from small studies and de-bottlenecking or improvement works, through to new equipment and production facilities. The scope includes GMP and non-GMP equipment (for example, black utilities). There is an opportunity to be involved in all project stages from concept through to commissioning. This role is based on-site, full-time in Barnard Castle, North England.
About You
As a Senior / Principal engineer, you will take responsibility for all aspects of process engineering project delivery. You will be supported by the wider BakerHicks process team, which includes several highly experienced process engineers.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree such as Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology Engineering from UK university
- Significant experience working as an engineer in the pharmaceutical sector. This can be either working directly for a manufacturing company or working for a design and engineering company.
- Desirable Chartered Engineer Status
- Want to take ownership, be innovative, use initiative and are driven by client satisfaction
