Summary: We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with expertise in Energy Trading dashboards to create advanced reporting solutions. The candidate should possess strong data modeling skills and hands-on experience with Databricks, ensuring high-quality analytics in a dynamic trading environment. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights from complex trading data. The position is hybrid, requiring three days a week onsite in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports for Energy Trading stakeholders
- Build robust data models and optimize performance for large datasets
- Work closely with traders, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Integrate data from Databricks and other cloud-based platforms
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and reporting best practices
- Translate complex trading data into meaningful visual insights
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, performance tuning)
- Proven experience working on Energy Trading dashboards (power, gas, commodities, etc.)
- Strong experience with Databricks
- Experience working in a regulated financial or energy trading environment
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
