Summary: The Senior PMO Analyst (Programme) at Elexon will support the delivery of complex change programmes by providing essential PMO services, including governance, reporting, and financial oversight. This role involves collaboration with Programme Managers and senior stakeholders to ensure programmes align with strategic objectives. The position offers an opportunity to influence programme delivery and enhance PMO capabilities across transformational initiatives. The role is permanent and operates within a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver core Programme Management Office (PMO) services across complex change programmes
  • Manage RAID logs, governance activities, integrated planning, reporting, and programme controls
  • Produce high-quality programme reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and delivery insights for senior stakeholders
  • Monitor programme performance, proactively identifying and escalating risks, issues, dependencies, and trends
  • Support financial management, resource planning, forecasting, and budget reporting
  • Coordinate governance forums, programme meetings, and key Agile ceremonies
  • Develop and maintain programme documentation, standards, and delivery artefacts
  • Support organisational readiness through effective stakeholder engagement and communications
  • Promote PMO best practice, continuous improvement, and standardised ways of working
  • Coach and support PMO Analysts, contributing to capability development across the PMO function
  • Work closely with Programme Managers and Delivery teams to improve delivery confidence and governance

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience working within a Programme PMO or Project Management Office environment
  • Strong experience managing RAID logs, governance, reporting, planning, and programme controls
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation or change programmes
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience supporting financial management, resource planning, and forecasting
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex programme data into meaningful insights
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, PPM tools, or similar project management platforms
  • Ability to work independently within fast-paced, complex delivery environments
  • Experience using Power BI or data visualisation tools (desirable)
  • P3O, PRINCE2 Agile, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent qualifications (desirable)

We’re looking for a Senior PMO Analyst (Programme) to join the Programme Delivery team at Elexon on a permanent basis.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex change programmes across Elexon. Working alongside Programme Managers, Delivery Managers, and senior stakeholders, you’ll establish and deliver high-quality PMO services, providing governance, reporting, planning, financial oversight, and delivery assurance that enables programmes to remain on track and aligned with strategic objectives.
