Senior Platform / Backend Engineer Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Senior Platform / Backend Engineer to work for a key client based in Cambridge
Please note this role falls inside IR35 and will be onsite 2 days a week in Cambridge
Essential Skills

- Policy Engines (Cerbos, opa, cedar etc.)

- Best Practices (OWASP, OOP, SOLID, DRY, DDD, contracts, integrations, security, backend workers etc.)
- Monitoring & Telemetry (OTEL, DynaTrace etc.)
- VCS & CICD (GitLab)
- Spec driven AI development (e.g. Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or Kiro - NOT vibe coding!)
