description: Senior Planning Policy Officer Yorkshire £50-55 per hour   Initial 6 Month Contract   Job Ref - 64646   My local authority client in Yorkshire is looking to source an experienced Town Planning Policy Specialist to operate at Senior or Principal.   The Local Plan team is a multidisciplinary team that are responsible for the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the statutory Local Plan for the district. The team support the districts growth ambitions shaping where and when development can take place alongside assisting the delivery of Neighbourhood Development Plans. The Post provides an exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals working on the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Local Plan.
