Job Title: Senior Planner (Freelance, Outside IR35)Location: Bristol - Hybrid Working (On-site/Remote)Overview:Senior Planner for a freelance position outside IR35. This role offers hybrid working with a flexible on-site and remote working. The ideal candidate will be proficient in maintaining and updating cost and resource-loaded programmes, reporting to the client, and leading the planning of various work packages.Key Responsibilities:Create, maintain, and update fully cost and resource-loaded baseline and progress programmes in Primavera P6.Manage programme updates in line with implemented Compensation Events, ensuring accurate reflection of project costs and schedules.Providing detailed schedule narratives on work package progress, identifying delays, potential mitigation, and forecasts for completion.Regularly update key milestones, KPIs, and fully resource-loaded activities within P6.Produce monthly reports for the client, covering programme updates, earned value progress, and detailed work package analysis.Submit comprehensive Earned Value (EV) progress reports, including a narrative on current progress and forecasted outcomes.Support the delivery of schedule narratives for various work packages, providing insights into progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.Skills & Qualifications:Extensive experience in planning roles, ideally within large projects.Proficiency in Primavera P6 and familiarity with cost and resource loading.Strong reporting skills, with experience in producing detailed PowerBI and EVM reports.Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build and maintain healthy client relationships.A solid understanding of contract management, including Compensation Events, Early Warnings, and Risk Reduction Meetings.This is an exciting freelance opportunity for a Senior Planner who seeks flexibility and autonomy, with hybrid working arrangements and an outside IR35 status.
