Summary: The Senior PingOne AIC Tester / QA Engineer role involves leading the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for API and UI components within a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for API, UI, and BDD-based user journey testing in PingOne AIC.
  • Implement test automation for API & UI components, integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Evaluate and adopt testing tools, frameworks (e.g., Postman for journey validation, Selenium, JMeter).
  • Develop and execute test plans for authentication flows (SSO, MFA, device registrations) using BDD scenarios (Given When Then).
  • Collaborate to test real-world CIAM journeys: passwordless logins, adaptive authentication, MFA, onboarding flows.
  • Design manual test cases for features like mobile SDKs, cloud connectors, device profiling, real-time sync, and policy enforcement.
  • Validate fixes, document defects, and coordinate with developers and product managers.
  • Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing of AIC components, simulating load and measuring system behaviour.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues; propose and validate mitigation strategies.
  • Create test plans, cases, scripts, and quality reports. Communicate metrics and results to stakeholders.
