Summary: The role of Senior PHP / Laravel Developer involves working on a short-term contract to enhance an existing platform by developing and maintaining applications using Laravel, React, and Livewire. The position requires collaboration with designers and backend teams to ensure high-quality code delivery while adhering to modern DevOps practices. The developer will be expected to work two days onsite in Oldham and three days remotely. This contract is classified as outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining scalable applications using Laravel.
  • Building rich, interactive UI components with React and Livewire.
  • Collaborating with designers and backend teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms (preferably Laravel Cloud, but AWS, Azure, or GCP are also acceptable).
  • Contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile delivery.

Key Skills:

  • Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel (v10+).
  • Proven front-end skills with React and/or Livewire.
  • Hands-on experience with Laravel Cloud or another major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Excellent understanding of modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, etc.).
  • Availability to work 2 days onsite in Oldham each week.

Senior PHP / Laravel Developer (React / Livewire) - Contract Middleton (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) 2-month contract £400-£450 per day (Outside IR35) We're looking for an experienced Senior PHP / Laravel Developer to join our team on a short-term contract to help deliver key features on an existing platform. You'll be working within a collaborative environment, taking ownership of backend and frontend tasks using Laravel , React , and Livewire .

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining scalable applications using Laravel (and ideally Laravel Cloud).
  • Building rich, interactive UI components with React and Livewire.
  • Collaborating with designers and backend teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms (Laravel Cloud preferred, but AWS, Azure, or GCP also welcome).
  • Contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile delivery.

What We're Looking For
